20 Dollis Drive is a well maintained 6 bedroom house with 3 storeys. It is well insulated with double glazed windows. It has a shower room and also a separate bathroom, which also has a shower. It has two WC’s with washbasins. There are two fully equipped kitchens, with two fridge freezers and ovens. There is one washing machine. Throughout the bedrooms and corridors there is laminate flooring which is easy for cleaning. The bathroom floors have a smooth finish trowelled décor quartz system which is extremely hygienic and easy to clean. Smoking is illegal inside the property, there is a full smoke detection system which will detect cigarette smoke.
We include cleaning twice a month to communal areas such as bathrooms and kitchens. The property is equipped with an emergency lighting system should there be a power outage. Each bedroom has a lockable fire door with its own separate security key which also works in the front door. The house is not supplied with furniture or curtains, but it does come with curtain rails, sofa in the living room, and all kitchen appliances. Beds are not supplied, we have found that most students prefer sleeping on their own new clean bed rather than a second hand mattress.
The house has a garden with grass and patio, as well as 2 parking spaces at the front. There is also on street parking. The adjacent houses are also occupied by students from the UCA, which makes a nice student community in the street.
